Last updated: 18 August 2026

Burn (“Burn”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Burn mobile application.

Information we collect

Burn is designed to collect as little personal data as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, analyse, and improve the app.

Information you provide

Burn may store information you choose to enter in the app, such as:

  • fasting schedules
  • fasting history
  • progress tracking data
  • preferences related to fasting plans

This information is stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated.

Purchase and subscription information

If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Burn does not collect or store your payment card or bank account information.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and verify access to paid features. Apple and RevenueCat may process limited purchase and subscription information, such as your subscription status, transaction history, product purchased, and related purchase information.

Analytics and advertising attribution

Burn uses analytics and attribution services to understand how the app is used, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and improve the app.

We use Singular for analytics and advertising attribution. Depending on your device and privacy choices, Singular may process information including:

  • device type and model
  • operating system and version
  • device identifiers, including IDFV
  • advertising identifier (IDFA), where you have granted permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework
  • IP address and other device or network information
  • app launches, sessions, and other product interaction data
  • information used to understand which advertising campaign or source led to an app installation or interaction

This information may be associated with a device identifier and used for advertising attribution, advertising measurement, analytics, and app functionality.

App Tracking Transparency

Where required, Burn will ask for your permission before accessing the advertising identifier or using data for tracking as defined by Apple.

You can choose whether to allow tracking when the Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt appears. If you grant permission, the advertising identifier may be used to help measure the effectiveness of Burn’s advertising campaigns.

You can change your tracking permission at any time through your device’s iOS privacy settings.

Data storage

Fasting and progress information entered into Burn may be stored locally on your device.

Limited device, usage, attribution, and subscription information may be transmitted to third-party service providers where necessary for analytics, advertising measurement, subscription management, and app functionality.

Third-party services

Burn relies on third-party services that process limited information necessary to operate, analyse, and improve the app. These may include:

  • Apple App Store, for payments and subscriptions
  • RevenueCat, for subscription management and purchase verification
  • Singular, for analytics, advertising attribution, and campaign measurement

These third parties process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Burn is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Health disclaimer

Burn provides general wellness and lifestyle guidance related to fasting. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet or fasting routine.
